Residents will learn about the music and big band leaders, both famous and lesser known, who were active during the swing era of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. Learn about Glenn Miller, Benny Goodmen, Count Basie, Will Bradley, The Dorsey Brothers, Artie Shaw, Duke Ellington and more. This fascinating presentation includes recorded music, audience participation and live music performed by David Aaron an active Band Leader.

Tuesday

Liz Salston Discussion Groups-On Various topics related to the Month. Prayers with Sister Eileen, Bingo, “The Money Wheel” Readings over Coffee – (summaries from popular books and Memoirs are read and discussed While Gourmet coffee is served. Wine & Cheese Party with Live Entertainment (evenings).

Wednesday

Yoga, Reminice group, Social Hour and Sing a Long, Crosswords, Advanced Trivia.

Thursday

Munch and Brunch Cooking Club, Movie Documentaries, Crafting, Gin Rummy and Poker card games.

Friday

Trip to Stop & Shop and the Dollar Store; Poke no, Bingo, Casino Games Shabbat Service.
