Monthly Support Groups at Buckingham Place
Three Support Groups:
Spouses Caring for their Spouse: 2nd Wednesday of each month from 1:30-3:00 PM
A support group for caregivers of Spouses with Dementia. Feeling overwhelmed and stressed out in your 24/7 caregiving role to your husband or wife and struggling with the emotional and physical toll it is taking on you? Join a group of spouses who can easily relate to your caregiver stress, will provide support and feedback to your caregiving issues, and ultimately help you realize you are not alone in this journey. (Refreshments provided.)

Caregiver Resource Workshop: 2nd Tuesday of the month. 1:00PM-3:00 PM
Speak with a Caregiver Specialist, who will answer your questions and concerns about services and programs in our area. Join a discussion of ideas about approaches that work when coping with a loved one’s changing health needs and the behaviors associated with memory loss.

Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group: 2nd Wednesday of the Month from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM
(A light supper is included.) A support group for all caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s disease. This is an opportunity for you to share and to learn. Barbara Stender, Caregiver Specialist with Greater Trenton Behavioral HealthCare, facilitates this educational support group with understanding, resources and humor.
