GO (GLOBAL OPTIONS)

Maximum gross income limit is $2,022/mo. for a single person with no more than $2,000 in assets. Couple – $4,044/mo. with no more than $3,000 in assets. Contact your local County Board of Social Services.

JACC (Jersey Assistance for Community Caregiving)

Maximum income limit is $3,296 for a single person with up to $40,000 in assets. Provides 1-2 days per week if eligible. Contact your local County Office on Aging.

NJ Statewide Respite Care Program

Same maximum income amount GO applies for single and married, but allows $40,000 in liquid assets for a single individual and $60,000 for a couple. Participants share cost in adult day health program. Contact your local County Office on Aging.

Alzheimer’s Association

Offers a onetime $1,000 reimbursement to individuals attending a medical adult day care for memory-related disorders, if the individual resides with family. Contact the Alzheimer’s Association at 1 800.883.1180.

VA Administration Contact

Veteran’s Administration funding is available for qualified Veterans’ to attend two days per week of adult day programming. Maximum income levels apply: $49,280 limit for Individuals and $56,320 for Couples. Contact Hilary Murray at 732.329.8954.

Adult Day Services Program For Persons With Alzheimer’s Disease or Related Disorders (ADDSP)

The NJ Department of Health & Senior Services may partially subsidize up to 3 days per week of Buckingham Place Adult Day Services for persons with Alzheimer’s disease or related disorders who are routinely cared for by an informal (unpaid) caregiver. Adult Day Services Program For Persons With Alzheimer’s Disease or Related Disorders

The Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS), Division of Aging and Community Services has statutory authority under N.J.S.A 26:M-9 et seq. and regulatory authority under N.J.A.C. 8:92-1.1 et seq. to administer the Adult Day Services Program for Persons with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders.

The Adult Day Services Program for Persons with Alzheimer’s Disease or Related Disorders (AADSP) partially subsidizes the purchase of adult day services for persons with Alzheimer's disease or a related disorder. AADSP is a state funded program and is available in 19 counties. Participating providers have Letters of Agreement with DHSS.

Client eligibility criteria:

  1. Resident of New Jersey;
  2. Diagnosis, by a licensed physician, of Alzheimer’s Disease or a related disorder (ADRD) that is progressive and irreversible such as, but not limited to:
    • Alzheimer’s Disease
    • Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease
    • Frontotemporal Dementia
    • Huntington’s Disease
    • Korsakoff’s Syndrome
    • Lewy Body Dementia
    • Multi-Infarct Dementia
    • Parkinson’s Disease Dementia
    • Progressive Supranuclear Palsy
    • Vascular Dementia
  3. Routinely cared for by an informal (unpaid) caregiver;
  4. Reside with informal caregiver in the community; and
  5. Have documented evidence of eligibility according to the income guidelines
