Home Health Aide Certification

Our Certified Homemaker – Home Health Aides CHHA’s are under the supervision of an RN and are regulated by The New Jersey Board of Nursing. Our caregivers receive supplemental training above and beyond the standard training certification requirement.

Advanced Training

Buckingham Health Services provides employees with additional training, which includes Dementia Practitioner’s Certification: An eight hour advanced dementia care training program conducted by an Advanced Dementia Practitioner.

Alzheimer’s Association Buckingham Home Health Services provides training through the Alzheimer’s Association’s Education Institute which includes:

  • Personal Care: assisting the person with memory loss with personal care needs.
  • Responding to challenging behaviors.
  • Effective Care Practices designed for caring for the patient with Memory Loss.
  • Communication: best ways to interact with the person with memory loss.
  • Activities: Making them Meaningful

RN & Home Assessment

Our Director of Nursing will conduct a thorough assessment of your needs at your home. A care plan is written together with you and your family, or other caregiver.
